Class of 2017
I enrolled at HBA in fourth grade. In seventh grade, I took a peacekeeping class from my Bible teacher, Mr. Sprankle. In that class I learned I had been holding onto grudges for many years, and through that class I was able to learn how to forgive others.
In high school, I had more opportunities to grow in my faith. Two of my high school teachers, the Logans, opened up their home on Saturday nights to students, where we could ask any questions we had about God and faith. The biggest challenge the Logans presented to me was to live my life “on mission.” So now, I make it a point to share my faith with my family.
At HBA, I continue to grow in my faith by serving on the Christian Ministries Team and leading Bible studies on campus.
