My parents wanted to send my brothers and I to a Christian school. Through their research, they found Hawaii Baptist Academy. I attended HBA from kindergarten all the way through high school.
I chose HBA as a school for my children because I had such a good experience here. All of the things I learned, and the solid foundation in Christianity, have stayed with me.
The teachers at HBA are very nurturing, and it comes out in the way they teach the kids. Academically, I know my kids are getting exactly what they need, and the Christian principles are providing them with a good foundation for life.
My kids love going to school every day, and they’re involved in a lot things. Carly’s in choir, Mia’s on the newspaper team, and both Connor and Carly are student ambassadors.
One day, when I picked up the kids from school, my oldest daughter said to me, "Mom, I love school. I love coming to school." That made me so happy because I knew that my kids were in the right place.
